Don Reese obtained a BBA with Highest Honors with a dual major in the Business Honors Program and in Accounting at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law with a J.D. Degree and became a licensed attorney. Don began his legal career with the Austin law firm, Clark, Thomas, Winters & Shapiro, specializing in real estate and tax areas. Don served from 1982 until 1990 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Byram Properties. He is a member of the national, state, and local bar associations.

He has also been active in civic and professional organizations including serving as a Director of the Real Estate Council of Austin, Director of the UT Center for Real Estate Finance, President, Director of the Austin Longhorn Club, Executive Committee of the UT Longhorn Foundation, and Director of Capital National Bank (now Wells Fargo).

Jeremy Smitheal obtained a BBA with Highest Honors with a dual major in Finance and in Real Estate and an MBA degree at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Riverside Resources, Jeremy was a corporate finance analyst at Bear Stearns, & Co., participating in all aspects of investment banking including mergers and acquisitions, valuations and equity and debt offerings. He has also been active in civic and professional organizations including serving as a Director and Executive Committee member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, Associate member of the UT Center for Real Estate Finance, Director of The Nature Conservatory, and Director of the Commercial Leasing Brokers Association.

John Needham graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Accounting. He began his career with the accounting firm Ernst & Whinney working as a consultant to various real estate investors and developers regarding the acquisition, disposition and structure of their real estate transactions. Upon leaving Ernst & Whinney in May 1984, John joined Byram Properties where he served as Chief Financial Officer. John has also been involved in various community activities including the Real Estate Council of Austin and the Regents School of Austin, of which he is a founding director.
